Obituary



Amador S. Sanchez, 90, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014.  He was born on November 23, 1923, in Taft, Texas, to Jose C. and Angelita S. Sanchez who preceded him in death.  Mr. Sanchez was a veteran of World War II and retired from the Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, Texas.



 



Amador is survived by three sons:  Amador Sanchez, Fermin Sanchez and Joe (Ester) Castillo; two daughters, Oneida (Ruben) Rivera and Olivia (Armando) Castillo; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 27, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Interment will follow the service at Taft Memorial Park with military honors.
